Who We Are
We're a small team of developers and designers who got frustrated with the same problem most people face: you notice your touchscreen feels off — maybe a corner isn't responding, or certain swipes don't register — and there's no easy way to check it without downloading an app or digging through settings menus.
So we built TouchScreenTest.org. It started as an internal tool we used ourselves, and eventually we cleaned it up and made it free for everyone. No sign-up. No tracking. Just open the page, tap Start, and get your answer.

What the Tool Does
TouchScreenTest.org divides your screen into a fine grid and tracks every zone your finger passes over in real time. Here's what you can check:
- Dead zones — areas that don't respond to touch at all, shown in red after you scan the screen.
- Multitouch — place multiple fingers at once to confirm your device tracks each one independently.
- Coverage percentage — a live counter shows how much of your screen surface has responded.
- Edge and corner accuracy — use fullscreen mode to test the parts most likely to fail after a drop.
- Device info — see your screen resolution, pixel density, and max simultaneous touch points at a glance.
- Screenshot results — capture and download your results to share with a repair shop or for a warranty claim.
Everything runs directly in your browser. We never access your camera, microphone, or any personal data. No results are sent to any server.
